The City of Fairfield Fire Station Headquarters #1 was designed and constructed to become a significant element in the city’s master plan.
Working with Mitch Conner and partnering with RMW Architecture and Interiors, ArchiLOGIX played an integral role in Strategic Planning, Design and Planning, and Construction.
The two-story, 21,000 square foot facility contains four bays, a dayroom, dorms, kitchen/dining area, decontamination room, workshop, exercise room, and storage.
Station #1 also required a reception area, private offices, and large conference rooms to support the fire department’s relocated administrative headquarters.
Fronting a lake, surrounded by picturesque landscape, with a senior center next door, the brick facade/metal roofed building blends with existing architecture in the civic center complex, while standing out as one of Fairfield’s signature structures.
