The Cloverdale Fire Station began with the City’s vision. As they looked for a replacement headquarters, they were interested in bringing all public places to street level to facilitate easier community access.
The 16,000 S.F. station fits administrative offices, training/community room, living quarters for on-duty firefighters, a 4-bay/8 truck apparatus bay with operational support spaces. While the 1.5 acre site includes a hose drying/training tower, staff parking and emergency support equipment and refueling, all situated squarely on South Cloverdale Blvd.
Staying true to the City of Cloverdale’s vision, we were able to create a space that highlights the design and accessibility of the city’s newest station and bring an important public feature to the view and reach of the community.
