The new Williams Selyem Winery on Westside Road in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County was built to be a full-service facility. It incorporates wonderful agrarian design into the natural landscape, while fully supporting production and hospitality.
It has the capacity for 35,000 case production with advanced technology for a “gravity-flow” pinot noir facility, while housing all administrative, retail and hospitality spaces. The final build-out is approximately 60,000 S.F. Implemented in three phases. The design began with the barrel storage area, finishing/bottling area, case goods/packaging area, shipping area, and offices for operational staff. Ensuring that, first and foremost, the winery functioned as a top of the line production facility. The second phase included the administrative offices and hospitality areas for wine tasting, a wine library, and educational programs that give employees and visitors and equally ideal experience. The third phase includes a crush pad, fermentation tanks, a storage area, and an aging area.
This collection of agrarian buildings form a village of winemaking and hospitality that melds with the heritage oaks and rock outcroppings of this challenging topography. A wonderfully functioning production facility first, the Williams Selyem Winery is also ideally situated to enjoy of the spectacular views of the surrounding Russian River Valley.
