
When property owners approached the City of Cloverdale, they came with a carefully considered plan for future development and annexation of their properties. It started a thorough and transparent process that worked to meet the best economic use of the properties for Cloverdale, as well as the business, social, and aesthetic interests of the community.
The Master Development Plan for the properties included economic impact analysis, land use strategy, architectural and landscape design guidelines, master circulation plan, public benefit areas for civic functions and open space considerations.
Through their careful planning, the property owners were able to successfully amend the Cloverdale General Plan. The new plan allowed flexibility of the uses in the project area and gave the property owners the ability to market their Master Development Plan.
