Peter Stanley
Peter's fulfilling career has spanned much of the design and building process. Starting in construction in the early stages of his career, he moved on to work on large design and development projects for Simons & Brecht, under the tutelage of award-winning architect Larry Simons, and later to managing projects for AXIA Architects. In 2001, he started his own facilities management and development consulting firm, where his practical understanding of construction and the regulatory process helped successfully shape complex plans into reality. Commercial projects, public safety, schools and housing have dominated his career.
Peter is very involved in community work both locally and abroad. He chaired the City of Santa Rosa's Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board and was a board member from 2007 until February of 2011 when he was appointed to the Santa Rosa Planning Commission. ArchiLOGIX has been a donor and managed projects for the Santa Rosa Chapter of Rebuilding Together for the past six years. He is also the vice chairman of two international non profits, Developing Communities and Clinica Verde ,which are dedicated to providing housing, education, economic development and medical services to women and children of Nicaragua.
